Female, 26 -- looking for a team
to be a part of for the BEAR 2010. I have competed in several
sprint and Olympic distance triathlons as well as an off-road tri. I am
descent at swimming, running and biking. I have not done much distance
kayaking, but I was a rower in college and am very comfortable covering
distance on the water. I may not be the fastest but I am competitive and
I can go far at a good pace. My goals are to have a great time, a good
experience and compete to the best of my ability. I am confident that I
can bring my positive attitude, competitive spirit and physical
abilities to the BEAR 2010. I currently reside in St. Mary's, GA.

Male, 45 -- volunteered at the
last Bear but I plan to run this one. Now looking for someone to
race the Bear with. This will be my sixth race. I’m a
good navigator and have a lot of endurance. I would prefer to do
the 3 or 4 person coed but will race any class. Have been on
teams winning both Prime Division and 2P-Coed Div. Contact Patrick

Male, 34 - from Puerto Rico - involved in
Adventure Races since January 2000, participating in sprint style,
12hr and 24hr races. I'm also part of the only Adventure Race
Team in the Caribbean: TEAM X. Skills: Strong Bike
& Kayaks Skills, Good trek/run/navigation abilities, Overall
(Intermediate) - need a teammate that competes according to my
abilities. Primary interest (besides finishing in a good
position) is have fun. Looking for someone well
oriented in team work. I speak and understand English 85 to 90%, so
sometimes l have limitation. In the last two events with
Performance, I shared decisions and routes with other teams and racers
